Janet L. Salamin

Janet L "(Lawler). Salamin, age 80, of Santa Claus, IN, formerly of Hudson,

MI, passed away on June 7, 2020, at Scenic Hills Care Facility.

She was born on September 10, 1939, in Adrian to Elihu and Hazel (Turner) Mills.

Janet graduated from Adrian High School in 1957. She married Russell Salamin on March

17, 2000, in Hillsdale and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2013. She was a member of

Thornhill Baptist Church in Hudson.

Janet is survived by three daughters, Cynthia (Carl) Somerlott of Santa Claus, IN, Kathy

Biggers of Montpelier, OH, Judy (Walter) Luckey of Texarkana, TX; a son, Roger (Angela)

Lawler of Waldron, MI; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her

husband, Russell, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Allen Lawler; two

sisters, Barbara Merritt and Helen Schutte; a brother, John Mills; and two great

grandchildren, Kymberly Hassenzahl and Zachari Rohr.

Funeral services for Janet will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. with

visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home,

Morenci with Pastor Elton Spurgeon officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery,

Morenci.
