Leroy 'Mikey' Engelbrecht

Leroy ‘Mikey’ Engelbrecht 53, of Dale, IN. died on October 20, 2021 at Memorial Hospital.

He was born January 11, 1968 in Huntingburg, IN. to Leroy and Lucille Engelbrecht. He loved John Cena, fishing, Elvis, watching movies and wrestling.
He is preceded in death by his father Leroy, grandparents Gilbert and Naamah Engelbrecht, Lawrence and Elizabeth Litherland and uncles George and Charlie Engelbrecht.
He is survived by his parents Lucille and Robert Northrup; siblings Pamela (Rondy) Lowe, Lisa (James) Northrup, Kay (Blake) Edwards and Marc (Asma) Engelbrecht; Step siblings Kimberly (David) Roberts, Jerry (Marcey) Northrup and Robert Northrup, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Alitzah who helped take care of him. Also to her sons Mason and Cayden ‘Morgan’ who he spent a lot of time with. Mikey touched the lives of many people.
A Funeral Service is planned for Monday October 25, 2021 at 11 AM CST the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Evanston, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday October 24 from 2 PM CST till 6 PM CST at the Fuller Funeral Home in Dale.
