Mary J. Maurer

Mary Josephine Maurer 96, of Dale, IN. died on Thursday November 5, 2020 at Scenic Hills in Ferdinand.

Mary was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on March 7, 1924 to Gobel and Ethel (Lindsey) Childress.

She attended and was a member of the Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Huntingburg.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Maurer and siblings.

She is survived by her sister Marie Smith of Dale, IN. and brother Wayne Childress of Bloomfield, IN. and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the pandemic, Funeral Services will be private. Mary will be laid to rest next to her husband in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Huntingburg, 406 East Third Street, Huntingburg, Indiana 47542
